Yesterday the kids and I decided to go mushroom hunting. I didn't think we would find anything but sure enough we found seven little gray sponges. The kids were so excited because these are the first mushrooms they have ever found. We tried to find some last year but I think we had missed the season. It is funny because here I have been dreaming of finding a big mushroom and they made me change my attitude about the whole thing by being so proud of there little shrimpy mushrooms. Funny how being a mom does that sort of thing to ya huh? My kids help me see the good in everything and our hunting adventure was no different!
We also went over to moms that afternoon because the kids wanted to see Aunt Gibby's new baby goat. Now Bernice is wanting to show a goat next year but she still hasn't got mommy talked into buying such a nuisance.

She knelt down and said, "Mommy! What is this?".
So cute, she didn't even know what it was.

Hollea with some of the mushrooms.

Bernice holding a mushroom she found.

James Ashley holding the mushroom he was so proud of.

Walking back from a long, hot mushroom hunt.

Bernice enjoyed bottle feeding and playing with the
baby goat while my other two could careless about it.
