Crazy beautiful life

Okay so i have fallen a little behind on the updating but it has been crazy here! First off the kids had another wrestling meet at Southmont on February 8th. James didn't place but he did score points on his second match! Hollea got hurt her first match which I didn't get to see because James was wrestling on another mat at the same time and didn't realize she was already on the mat. She wouldn't wrestle the second match. Bernice wrestled the same boy she wrestled at Northmontgomery and she didn't let him fold her up like a pretzel this time! She placed 6th. They have a meet this weekend, an next so we'll be busy with that but I'm sad to say that wrestling practice will come to an end on March 19th, Berncie is also saddened by this news while the other two could care less. I think she was just starting to get the hang of it. Hollea will not be wrestling anymore this year, we have decided this just isn't her thing. James is still a little young to tell but I think he'll be like his oldest sister and love it.

First wrestling tournament of the season!!

Yesterday the kids had there first wrestling tournament of the season. This was also James Ashley's first wrestling match ever! All three of the kids went out and did there best. Bernice place 4th in the Intermediate 50# and bubby placed 6th in the Pee-Wee 40#. Hollea didn't place but she had fun and tried her best. I'm so proud of my little wrestlers! SLEDDING!!!

Today the kids and I went sledding. This is the first time sence the big snow that we've been able to play in it! With school/work and wrestling season there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything!

This silly cat loved riding in the sled, the kids didn't even have to hold him on there!

The cat even rode back up the hill while Bernice pulled him!!

He also rode with Hollea.

I think James had a blast!

Snow Fun

Yesterday and today it was finally warm enough for the kids and I to go outside and enjoy the snow so I thought I'd post some pictures. We love every chance we get to be outside so this zero or below weather is miserable! All I have to say is thank goodness for coveralls!

Merry Christmas/Happy New Year

Okay so I'm a little late with the Merry Christmas but anyways. We all had a great Christmas. I think the kids got everything they wanted and I got what I've always hoped for........Everyone was healthy!!! This is the first year that none of my kids were sick on Christmas day. They were even healthy on New Years Eve and so far are still not sick. I hope it stays that way after we go back to school on Tuesday. Speaking of which, I'm not ready for the kids to go back to school yet nor am I ready for work again. It has been great spending time with the kids and not worrying about cramming homework, wrestling practice and family time all in one night. Now that I work I really enjoy every minute we get to spend together as a family. (Not that I didn't before.) We also have some new friends to hang out with and I think they have somehow brought us closer together as a family. We now play games together and do more as a family then before. Thanks Betsy, we didn't realize how much we needed you guys in our lives until now.
